Terms & Conditions

Galaxy Travel Ltd is a member of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) under ABTA No. J5783 registered at Cringleford Business Centre, Intwood Road, Cringleford, Norwich NR4 6AU. The company operates several web sites for the purpose of providing holiday and travel services and these terms and conditions apply to all such sites.

Pricing and Costings

1. The search result prices are supplied directly to this website by various Tour Operators. Fly Norwich cannot accept responsibility for any incorrect information featured and all offers are subject to availability.
2. Prices indicated are for guidance only and are displayed in columns under headers featuring different ratings. These ratings do not represent an official tourist or industry rating, ratings are provided by individual operators as defined in their brochures.
3. Prices are basic prices. Many tour operators charge additionally for accommodation under occupancy / flight supplements / security charges / ticket on departure charge / resort transfers / in-flight meals / pre-bookable seats. Full costing will be confirmed at time of enquiry and before your booking is confirmed you by one of our travel consultants.
4. Prices are for return trips, per person. Most are based on two people sharing, although some self-catering prices are based on four or more people sharing. Supplements for fewer adults sharing may apply. You will be notified of these before your booking is confirmed.
5. For holiday bookings within 13 weeks of departure, certain tour operators add a charge for transfers between destination airport and accommodation. You will be notified of these before your booking is confirmed.
6. If the holiday is a late booking, i.e. within 2-3 weeks of departure, there may be a ticket on departure charge which can range between £10-£30 per person, in addition £7- £9 are typical charges to cover security and are compulsory charges to enable tickets to be collected at the airport. The exact charges will be notified to you before the booking is confirmed.
7. Some prices do include the aircraft insurance, security charges and other associated costs. However if this is not included an additional charge of between £7- £9 per person may be added. This will be notified to you before the booking is confirmed.
8. Due to increases in fuel prices some tour operators have introduced a £5 - £30 per person fuel supplement charge. This supplement will be confirmed to you before the booking is confirmed.
9. Most prices don’t include local entry and departure taxes levied by non-EU countries.
10. Some holidays shown may have a return airport different from the airport you departed from. This will be notified to you before your booking is confirmed.

Booking Conditions

Bookings will only be accepted from individuals 18 years old or over. We will confirm your booking with you over the telephone on the understanding that you sign and return a completed booking form. This booking form is the legal contract between you and the tour operator and binds you, the customer, to the Terms and Conditions outlined by the operator in their brochure. Confirmation of these conditions will be sent out to you with your booking form after booking. Any cancellations or amendments to the booking once the holiday has been confirmed will be charged as per the tour operators booking conditions. Any amendments to your holiday made by the operator will be advised to you at the earliest opportunity and will be outlined subject to the operator's conditions of booking. Tour operators booking conditions apply to all holidays, however these conditions may be different based on tour operator and type of holiday.

Brochured Holidays

When booking a holiday from a tour operator's brochure, you will receive the service(s) outlined for that property as specified in the operator's brochure. Special requests are at the discretion of the Tour operator and are not guaranteed. All accommodation ratings shown are the tour operators own, and may not be the official rating.

Late Deals/Allocated on Arrival

When booking a holiday where accommodation will be allocated on arrival, the tour operator will advise you of this upon arrival at your destination. It may be accommodation that has not been previously used by the operator or is additional to their contracted properties. Special requests, if available, are at the discretion of the Tour operator and are not guaranteed. All accommodation ratings shown are the tour operators own, and may not be the official rating.

Names and Titles

In all cases with no exception, the names given to us at the time of booking must be correct in that the title, initial and surname should be the same as it appears on each passengers passport. If any errors occur, the tour operator to correct the mistake will normally levy a charge. Equally, if a name needs to be changed after a booking is made, and providing there is enough time before departure, a charge will be made. Tour operators reserve the right to refuse changes as per booking conditions.

Tickets

Once your holiday is booked and paid for, tickets will be dispatched by post, normally 7- 10 days prior to departure. All timings shown are based on the 24 hour clock system and all times are local based on time differences from GMT. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you reach your airport of departure and check in with plenty of time for your flight as stated on your tickets. Tickets will be sent to the address advised to us at the time of booking. We cannot be held responsible for delay or non-delivery of tickets due to postal problems, but will endeavour to do all we can to assist in this case.

Ticket on Departure

If you have booked your holiday close to departure, usually within 14 days, it is likely you will have to collect your tickets at the tour operator's ticket desk at your departure airport. Most tour operators will make a charge for this service, and this will be advised to you at the time of booking.

Passports

British Citizens require a full ten-year British passport with at least 6 months validity remaining from the date of return for travel outside of the British Isles. Children and babies not already on their parent's valid passport will require their own and these can be obtained in the normal way from your passport office. Non British Citizens will need to contact their embassy or consulate for up to date advice on passport requirements. It is your own responsibility to ensure that all members of your party are in possession of a valid passport.

Visas

For entry to certain countries, British Citizens and non - British Citizens may require a visa. They may also be required for long stays in a country or if you intend to work during your stay. You should contact the embassy or consulate of your destination country to obtain up to date information on visa requirements. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you and the members of your party have the correct visas for entry/departure to your destination. For travel to the United States you are required to check the immigration rules, including the Visa Waiver Programme, to ensure you satisfy entry requirements, and to establish whether you require a US visa. You may use the link below but it remains your own responsibility to make the necessary declarations and to satisfy yourself that you have complied as appropriate to your own circumstances. For example, any conviction, including a motoring offence, even if a prison sentence is spent will mean you are likely to require a visa by making a personal application. Booking an offer from the Galaxy Travel or FlyNorwich, or related web sites, implies you have read and understood these conditions and Galaxy Travel Ltd. will not accept any liability for any contravention of the US immigration rules. You are also reminded to check the time for processing visa applications and that no liability will be accepted for any delay subsequently leading to cancelled travel arrangements. Health

For up to date medical advice you should contact your local GP or health centre. For certain countries vaccinations are recommended and for some they are compulsory.

Insurance

It is the policy of Galaxy Travel Limited to provide travel arrangements if: All of the party is covered by an insurance policy sold through ourselves Or the lead passenger provides proof of alternative comparable insurance cover and signs an indemnity form stating that they will make their own insurance arrangements. Please note that with some airlines and tour operators, carriage may be refused if an adequate travel insurance policy cannot be produced on request. Cover by some credit cards does not fully cover you in the event of an accident or certain other liabilities in the resort and does not constitute an adequate travel insurance policy. When taking out our travel insurance policy, it is vital that you make us aware of any medical conditions that you, and any member of the insured party or immediate family, is suffering or has suffered from in the last 12 months, as failure to do so may invalidate your policy.

Discounts and Free Insurance

On selected brochured holidays discounts and/or free insurance offers are available. In all cases these are subject to minimum spend levels and must comply with the conditions of the individual promotion.

Debit and Credit card payments

When we confirm your holiday we will require either deposit (if booked outside of 10 weeks prior to departure) or full payment (if booked within 10 weeks of departure). You can make payment either by debit card (Switch, Delta) or credit card – we accept most types. We apply a credit card surcharge of 1.5% (and 3% for American Express) on the full price of any booking. There is no surcharge for debit cards. Balance payments can also be made by cheque - please make cheques payable to Galaxy Travel Ltd., but please remember to allow time for clearance through your bank.

Cancellation

Cancellation must be made to us in writing giving as much notice before departure as possible and must be signed by the lead passenger on the booking. Cancellation will be subject to the tour operator’s booking conditions, and charges usually vary from deposit only to 100% of the holiday cost, depending how far in advance of departure the cancellation is made. No action may be taken by ourselves to cancel a holiday until notice in writing has been received. Any discounts offered at the time of booking will be reversed in the event of cancellation. Free or discounted insurance will be charged for on bookings cancelled before departure.

Amendments

Any amendments to your existing booking, such as departure dates or changes of accommodation will be charged as per the tour operators booking conditions.

Liability

Galaxy Travel Limited uses all possible resources to ensure that the information provided on our websites is as accurate as possible. However, because of our reliance on certain third party systems and information, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information provided.

Using the website means that you accept that Galaxy Travel will NOT be liable for any reasonable losses arising from the use of information from the websites, including any loss of profits or anticipated savings. Use of our websites, and of the information contained within them, is done so on the understanding and acceptance of these conditions.
